1911 Dublin Census

As the 1911 Dublin census is now on-line, I thought it would be useful to start a discussion and identify some of the Perrys one it.

My own great grandfather, Patrick Perry (born 1893) had been orphaned by 1911 and therefore he and his 3 surviving brothers are not together on the census. So:

Joseph Perry, St Vincent de Paul Orphanage, Glasnevin, 18
James Joseph Perry, Cabra Road, 24 (living with relatives on his mother's side)
Patrick Perry, Sackville Street, Upper (now O'Connell St), 17
Francis Peter Perry, Belvedire Place, 22

are brothers. Two brothers died prior to the census and the sisters in the family were in County Kildare living with relatives.

Some of my County Down Perrys moved to the Dublin area in the 1700's, but I don't know anything about them after the 1760's. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the Perrys on the 1911 census were relations of mine.

I hope more people post info about some of the Perrys on the 1911 Dublin Census.
